Activities & Days Out / 14 May, 2026 / Ellie Thompson
If your child’s a fan of PAW Patrol, then prepare yourself, because Chessington World of Adventures has just become the ultimate family day out.
The theme park has officially launched The World of PAW Patrol, a brand-new immersive land bringing Adventure Bay to life across 1.4 acres of vibrant themed space. Alert: this is a pretty big deal for preschool families.
Opening to the public from 3rd May, the new area is packed with interactive experiences, rides, themed food, and even the UK’s first-ever PAW Patrol hotel rooms.
At the centre of the new land are four family-friendly rides, each themed around one of the beloved pups from the hit children’s TV show.
Designed with younger children in mind, the rides lean more towards immersive storytelling and gentle adventure rather than big thrills, making this one of the best additions to the park for families with toddlers and preschoolers.
The entire area has been designed to recreate Adventure Bay, with colourful theming, interactive elements and a focus on teamwork, community and “everyday heroism”. Values parents will instantly recognise from the show.
There’s also a PAW Patrol-themed playscape for children to burn off energy, alongside themed food stalls and exclusive merchandise throughout the land.
For families wanting the full experience, Chessington has also launched five fully themed PAW Patrol hotel rooms — the first and only PAW Patrol accommodation in the UK.
Each room sleeps up to two adults and three children, with themed décor designed to make little fans feel fully immersed in Adventure Bay from bedtime through breakfast.
Hotel stays start from £155 for a family of four and include:
Which, for parents, may honestly be the biggest selling point of all.

While the new land will understandably be the headline attraction for younger visitors this summer, Chessington remains one of the best all-round family theme parks in the UK because there’s genuinely something for every age group.
Older children will still love thrill rides like Vampire, Dragon’s Fury and Mandrill Mayhem, while families can also explore the park’s zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium throughout the day.
The zoo remains a huge part of the Chessington experience, home to lions, tigers, gorillas, sea lions and more — giving the park a unique mix of theme park thrills and wildlife experiences that sets it apart from many other UK attractions.
For families with mixed ages, that balance is what makes it work so well.
What Chessington has done particularly well with The World of PAW Patrol is recognise the gap in the market for genuinely immersive attractions aimed specifically at younger children.
So many theme park additions focus on thrill-seekers, but this feels intentionally built for preschool families — from the scale of the rides to the storytelling and the hotel experience.
And realistically? For many children under six, this may well become their “Disney-level” day out.
Between the brand-new PAW Patrol rides, themed hotel rooms, zoo, aquarium and family-friendly attractions across the resort, Chessington World of Adventures has positioned itself as one of the biggest UK family destinations for 2026.
And if your child currently communicates exclusively in Ryder quotes? You probably need to book now.
