Set Sail with These Dreamy Coastal Interiors for Baby’s Nursery

Mamas & Papas have launched the Dover nursery collection, a new coastal interior range to coincide with the onset of spring. Think understated, yet stylish furniture and accessories of nature inspired hues, calming blues and crisp whites inspired by this season’s nautical trend.

It’s a dreamy yet subtle collection that will have everybody thinking ahead to warmer days and seaside trips.

Classic coastal style

The Dover furniture range is characterised by soft lines and beautifully curved edges. All the pieces in the range are packed full of timeless character. The furniture boasts panelled wood detailing with a painted finish, reminiscent of a classic coastal interior style.

Three-piece collection

The three-piece Dover nursery collection includes all the essentials you’ll need in terms of furniture in one smart bundle: compact cot, dresser/changer and a full-sized wardrobe. What’s even handier is that it’s also possible to buy pieces individually, if you’re unable to start your nursery completely from scratch.

A full nursery in a smaller space

What I love about the new Mamas and Papas’ Dover collection is that it presents parents with the ideal solution for creating a beautiful nursery in a smaller space. These pieces aren’t overwhelmingly huge, but they are top quality, practical and solid.

The cotbed

The Dover Cotbed is a fantastic sleep solution that will grow with your baby from newborn through to four years of age. The cotbed has two base positions for ease of lying baby down, and to ensure your little one is safe in their sleeping space as they get bigger. There are even two teething rails to protect the cot and soothe baby’s gums. Once your toddler is ready, you can covert the cot into a toddler bed which will last them many years.

The wardrobe

The Dover wardrobe is a beautiful full-sized wardrobe, which is easy to assemble at home. The wardrobe offers a variety of of storage solutions: there’s a large integrated drawer at the base of the wardrobe, two removable hanging rails within and a handy shelf that can be used for extra organisation.

The dresser /changer

A timeless three drawer dresser that can double up as a changer, perfect for those early days and night feeds. This piece of furniture would make a fantastic addition to any nursery. The changing station is removable, so the drawers can live on for years in your child’s bedroom.

Coastal accessories

To compliment the Dover furniture collection, the Sail Away With Me accessory range uses classic coastal motifs to add instant character to their soft furnishings and bedding for baby. Think anchors, shells, boats, whales and crabs on lampshades, cushions, curtains, bedding and nursery prints in 100% soft natural cotton.
