Mamas & Papas has just launched Strada, their lightest, most compact stroller yet. Designed for city living and village streets, the Strada is an agile pushchair for style-conscious parents looking for something practical.
The first thing that will grab your attention is the luxurious appeal of the Strada. This is a buggy that certainly looks the part.
The Strada bears a striking resemblance to Mamas & Papas’ award-winning Ocarro stroller. Strada’s simple, sleek appearance is thanks to the stroller’s durable water-resistant woven fabric combined with a clean chassis and easy to access under-seat basket.
Suitable from birth and car seat compatible with adaptors, the stroller is available in various configurations to suit every family’s needs, and as you’d expect from Mamas and Papas, there’s a certain build quality you can rely on.
Comfort is at the forefront of the product’s design, and with added padding and a soft, cosy seat liner with padded safety harness buckle, your child will enjoy a snug ride.
The zip away hood and side mesh panels benefit from plenty of ventilation and you can even keep an eye on your baby through the silent peekaboo window.
If you’re a city dweller looking for a travel system to grow with your child, the Strada could be a great option, thanks to its lightweight size and compact nature.

Mamas & Papas is always coming up with genius ways to make our lives as parents easier, and the Strada’s one-hand fold is one of them. In fact, the launch of the Strada is also the brand’s debut of its first collapsible compact carrycot.
The Strada’s multi-position seat unit offers lie-flat to fully upright positions so it can be used from birth up until your child reaches approximately 15kg. This is music to the ears of parents with reflux babies who prefer to lie at a slight angle even from newborn age.
The stroller can be collapsed in a one-hand movement into a compact shape perfect for popping in the boot of a scar, or in any small living space.
Whilst like the Ocarro, the Strada has robust wheels and wheel suspension that will definitely help handle tougher terrains, the wheels are smaller and are made for urban/suburban living.
The stroller’s lightweight frame and durable rubber wheels make this buggy super-simple to manoeuvre around narrow pavements and tight spaces so you can social distance with ease.
The adjustable handlebar offers lightweight steering, and I found navigating our uneven village streets with my three-year-old in tow fairly easy – all while staying 2m apart from fellow pedestrians.
A compact travel system ready for action, the Strada is a fabulous stroller that balances performance, luxury, and style in equal measure.
Mamas and Papas’s Strada is available in three style-forward colourways, cashemere, navy, and grey mist.
