This week marks the first-ever Disney World Princess Week. It’s a global event designed to celebrate the courage and kindness of Disney Princesses in the hope to inspire fans to embrace the same traits in their everyday lives. Our favourite audio player for kids, Tonies, is at the forefront of celebrations. To mark the occasion, they’re offering 15% off all Tonies’ products (excluding bundles) with the Tonies’ discount code PRINCESS15 from the 20th – 30th August.
Tonies have joined Disney’s weeklong celebration of its leading ladies, aimed at inspiring a million acts of kindness around the globe. They’re busy championing the virtuous traits of the modern-day Princess, as they encourage kids to embrace their creativity, community spirit, intelligence, love of family, and bravery.
Tonies’ range of Disney Princess Tonies are a great way to introduce strong female role models to the lives of our little ones. The influence of inspiring characters like Moana or Elsa cannot be underestimated when it comes to teaching little ones to pursue their dreams, look out for one another and make the world around them a better place.
We’re so excited to reveal that Tonies® have recently added children’s favourites Moana and Mulan to their collection of Disney Tonies, igniting the imaginations of the next generation and introducing them to a lifelong love of stories.
To join in with Disney World Princess Week, we thought we’d share our top five Tonie princesses, exploring what is is about each of these princesses that makes them great role models for kids.
Everybody knows the story of Cinderella, the classic tale of rags to riches with good triumphing over bad. Cinderella is a character that teaches kids to be kind and to have the courage to stand up for themselves and to follow their dreams.
The story of Cinderella and the trials and tribulations she faces at the hands of her stepsisters comes to life on the Toniebox along with some favourite songs. Cinderella believes that if you have faith in your dreams, someday they will come true and her fairy godmother brings it together with a little Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!
Running time: approx. 21 minutes, suitable for children aged 3+

Roy Dotrice tells the story of a little mermaid called Ariel, who is so captivated by the world above the surface that she is willing to put everything at stake. Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for three days, but as things start to go terribly wrong, it’s Ariel’s self-confidence that sees her through.
Many might think The Little Mermaid sends the message that girls have to compromise to get what they want in life, (and they may have a bit of a point) but we think the most important message in The Little Mermaid is teaching kids to be adventurous, not to give up, even when they face the hardest of challenges.
Your little ones will love this musical Tonie, which includes popular songs Part of Your World, Beyond my Wildest Dreams, Sea Floor Strut and Under the Sea
Running time: approx. 24 minutes, suitable for children aged 3+
Moana is the daughter of a village chief, chosen by the ocean to embark on an action-packed quest to save her island and her people. She sets sail to rescue the heart of goddess Te Fitti from legendary demigod, Maui. Against all odds Maui and Moana voyage together across the ocean to reunite the mystical relic with its true owner.
Moana is a strong-willed, headstrong Disney Princess. Even though she encounters moments of self-doubt, she learns to trust in her own mental and physical abilities, and as a result, is practically fearless in facing her challenges head-on. Be more Moana! Is our daily mantra here at My Baba.
Running time: approx. 32 minutes, suitable for children aged 3+
Princess Elsa brings us the story of a kingdom trapped in perpetual winter, a tale of sisterly strife, and the epic journey undertaken by a fearless princess to save their kingdom from winter’s cold grip.
Children will enjoy listening to the captivating story of the devoted sisters, narrated by Nolan North, along with original favourite songs “Let It Go”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, “For the First Time in Forever” and “Love is an Open Door”.
Elsa finds herself on an epic journey of self-discovery as she searches for answers to some pretty huge questions. Ultimately, her own self-belief and inner strength heal the wounds of her past, allowing her to pick herself up, embrace her true self, and save the day.
Running time: approx. 24 minutes, suitable for children aged 3+
As brave Disney Princesses go, Mulan has to come out top. A legendary folk heroine, Hua Mulan disguises herself as a male warrior and joins the Chinese military to prevent her sick father from being forced to enlist. Accompanied by her faithful dragon, Mushu, she helps ward off an invasion and falls in love along the way.
Mulan transforms herself into a courageous and commanding leader, making her character a fantastic role model for young girls, proving they can be anything they want to be.
