DIY Bedroom Door Signs

Yesterday we spend a really pleasant hour making bedroom door signs.

To make your own door signs you will need:

  • Cardboard
  • Paints
  • Paintbrushes
  • Glue
  • A selection of materials to decorate with, we used: sequins, gems, mini gems, glitter glue, craft sticks

I set up lot of different materials for them to use and just let them get on with decorating their bedroom door signs while I pottered around in the kitchen. In the end they told me I couldn’t even watch or come over to them, as they wanted the end result to be a surprise! When they started making their signs I thought they would spend maybe 30mins on it, but in fact they were busy beavering away for almost an hour! It was really delightful to watch them (from afar), and they were so happy and proud with their results.
