I love to draw, I am not particularly good at it, but I do enjoy it. Over the last year both EC and YC have really started to enjoy sketching. As a kind of cross between a busy bag and a drawing exercise I have written down some drawing prompts.
Make sure you follow my craft board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
To make your own drawing prompts for kids you will need:
I have made a PDF of Drawing prompts that you can download and print out.
I set up everything that they might need on the side in the playroom as an invitation to create.
EC started first and YC decided to join in afterwards.
I asked them what they thought, and both said that it was a fun way to draw. I found that these drawing prompts helped give me a little nudge, then my imagination could really let loose. Doing this is also really addictive to do. A couple of times, during BB’s nap, I found myself doing another one.
