The Ultimate in Ergonomic Comfort in an Ultra-Compact Stroller

We were excited to take a closer look at Ergobaby’s new Metro Compact City stroller, the ultra compact and ergonomic pushchair. The only stroller certified ‘Back Healthy’ for baby and parent by the AGR of Germany, it’s also probably the only stroller that’s survived a trip into space to test its durability!

Comfortable & compact

The aptly named Metro City Stroller is so lightweight it’s brilliant for navigating busy streets, tubes and buses. The perfect travel companion, the stroller’s easy one-hand fold collapses the buggy down small enough to be stowed in overhead compartments on most airlines. The Metro is ideal for urban couples contending with a lack of car boot space.

The Metro City stroller is a slick looking buggy, offering soft and supportive multi-zone padding for the ultimate in ergonomic comfort. The adjustable back rest offers a seamless flat recline when used in conjunction with their Newborn Kit, while the adjustable leg rest enables the buggy to grow with baby. Despite being incredibly light and compact, weighing in at just 6.3kg, the Metro’s large shock-absorbing PU rear tyres offer full size handling while the gentle suspension delivers the smoothest of rides for both you and your baby.

Newborn Kit

The Metro City Stroller is suitable for babies aged 6 months up to 18kg, but as previously mentioned, when used with the nifty Newborn Kit, the Metro is suitable from birth.

Added extras

The stroller has been made from machine washable fabric, which is a lifesaver when a product offers such a great deal of longevity. Included in the basic package is a weather cover offering full cover for protection from wind and cold and large sun canopy (UPF 50) with peek-a-boo window. The Metro comes comes complete with a large storage basket which can carry up to 4.5kg which is fantastic for such a compact stroller. There’s also a hidden seat back pocket for any other essentials.

Ergobaby offer their customers a 2-year warranty for the Metro, which is fantastic peace of mind.

Conclusion

We’re already huge fans of Ergobaby and we think their venture into the world of pushchairs has been a brilliant success. The Metro Compact City stroller is a well-made, durable product. If you’re on the market for a compact stroller this winter, this has to be it.
