Postnatal fitness classes where your child comes along too are the best way to get into shape after having a baby. They’re also a fantastic way to meet new mums, find a routine tailored to suit your post-pregnancy body and bond with your new baba.
CARiFiT are on a mission to get new mums back into fitness post pregnancy. Their babywearing workouts consist of strapping your baby to your chest in a carrier and working out. The close contact reduces separation anxiety for your child and helps to reduce symptoms of postnatal depression for you. It also means you can workout whenever is convenient for you. Fit Birds are a team of female fitness and wellness specialists who aim to get you moving again. The trainers are experienced with all things post-natal and are ready to get you back on your journey to full strength. Fit Birds welcome Mamas & Bubas to almost all their classes and PT sessions, which include yoga, core, booty workouts and more. Bring your baby along in their buggy and let them enjoy the music while you workout.

A chance to get those endorphins pumping by doing a walk and a gentle workout while having fun with your baby and meeting other new mamas.
Each class is made up of a walk, a warm up, bodyweight exercises that are designed to re-engage your core and pelvic floor whilst restoring your function and strength, a short mindfulness session and a cool down. There is a strong focus on socialising – meeting other mums is so important so every session finishes with a coffee and a chat! Latino Bambino offer mother and baby salsa classes. They’re a fun way to keep fit and bond with your baby. Bring your baby along snuggled in their baby carrier and get into the Latin rhythm. The classes are devised to be safe and gentle for both you and your baby. The dance classes are also brilliant for socialising with other mums.

Babybounce offers mum and baby fitness classes suited to all fitness levels and abilities. Tone up working with weights, resistance bands and your baby. The focus is on regaining strength in your core and pelvic floor, while improving your glute strength. All babies welcome, feeding, sleeping or screaming. The current options are BabyBounce Burn Circuit Class and BabyBounce Postnatal Pilates.
Join Burn It to work on getting your strength back with their post-natal fitness classes. The sessions focus on the important areas – core and pelvic floor – as well as delivering a full-body workout. Bring your baby along and get moving with other new mums. Strong Mother is a class that aims to rebuild core strength, improve pelvic floor muscles and boost overall fitness. Aimed at the post-natal client, the class will help ready your body for doing all the heavy lifting that parenting entails. There is a maximum of 10 people per class and you’re welcome to bring your baba along too.

Move Your Frame has a brilliant array of pre and postnatal classes for mums. The pre-natal offering consists of yoga, Pilates and fitness, all helping to prepare you for birth. For post-natal, get involved with core rehab, Pilates and general post-natal fitness. Once you’re feeling stronger, you can graduate to Fit Mums for higher intensity workouts. Baby is always welcome to come along.

Women Workout offer a Mums & Buggies class that is tailored to combat the after effects of pregnancy and birth. The class covers pelvic floor, core restoration and cardio exercises. Bring your baby along and they can watch from their buggy or join in lying next to you on the mat.
Hande Lulu yoga classes help new mums strengthen their bodies physically and emotionally. Yoga will help you realign your spine and pelvis with pelvic floor exercises. The sessions will also teach your baby message techniques that can help your baby’s physiological and mental development.
