Halloween Feely Boxes

Everyone must have, at some point, done  Halloween feely boxes.  They are a classic party game.  Well we didn’t these ones at a party, we simply did them for fun.  Every year for the past 5 years, Leonora has suggested that we do them.  Sadly, we never had any shoe boxes at the right time.  Crazy right.  This year I have been collecting shoe boxes for these Halloween feely boxes.

Make sure you follow my Halloween board on Pinterest for more ideas.  Don’t forget to save the pin for later.

For these Halloween feely boxes you will need:

  • Shoe boxes
  • Craft knife
  • Objects to put in the boxes
  • Paper – optional
  • Pens – optional

To turn the boxes into the feely boxes cut out an opening for hands to go through.  I quickly decorated our boxes with paper and drew faces on them.

EC, YC, and I each took turns to find things to put in them for us to try and guess what they were.  The only rules I had were 1) nothing unsanitary; I could just imagine EC putting dog poo in as a joke. 2) nothing dangerous.  My favourite thing to put in was tapioca pearls, they are really slimy and sticky, and nobody could figure out what they were.

These are a fun Halloween activity to have around.  It doesn’t take much time and it’s a great way to kill 5 minutes before dinner is ready.
