Mothering Sunday has come around really quickly this year. I swear Lent only just started, but with Mothering Sunday on the 11th March we are almost halfway through it. Saying that we have been really on top of our presents this year and actually made them back in January. This year we have made Hama bead coasters.
Make sure you follow my homemade gift board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
You will need:
Make your designs using the Hama beads on the frame. We found that the best shapes to use are the square, circle, and hexagon ones.
Don’t knock it now!
Once you have finished making your coasters put a piece of parchment paper over the top and iron it to fuse the beads together. Please be careful when you are carrying the un-ironed Hama beads to the iron. I accidentally knocked on and sent half the beads flying! Thankfully YC saw the funny side of it so wasn’t too mad at me.
Gentle take it off the frame and turn it over. Put the parchment paper over the second side and iron it again.
Finally wrap all the Hama bead coasters up to make the perfect gift for Mothering Sunday.
