Hama Beads Avengers Drinks Covers

I know the summer is at an end, but hopefully the weather will continue to be fine as we go into autumn so that we can have a few last BBQs and afternoons outside. But with the end of summer come the slow and dozy wasps and flies. Many of our drinks have been ruined by a pesky fly ending up in them. To help keep them out we have been making these Avengers drinks covers.

To make your own Avengers drinks covers you will need:

• Hama beads
• Circular board
• Parchment paper

These Avengers drinks covers are pretty simply to make. Follow the patterns in the pictures above. Make sure that you leave a hole in the middle for a straw to go through. The symbols for the Avengers go (top line left to right) Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, (bottom line) Shield, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Iron Man.

When you have finished your design, cover it with parchment paper and iron it until the beads have fused together. Take it off the board, turn it over, and iron the other side.

Not only will these Avengers drinks covers keep the flies out, they will also help people identify which is their drink.
