Even though we were home-schooling over the last term, we kept in contact with BB’s preschool to see what they were doing, and if there was anything we could do at home. Their theme for last term was transport. One of the activities they did was to make loo roll cars. Which we then did at home. To carry on the theme, we made some loo roll airplanes.
Make sure you follow my junk modelling board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
On the piece of cardboard draw out some wings, propeller, tail, and extra circle that is the diameter of the loo roll. Then cut them out.
Cut some slits in the side of the loo roll for the wings to go through. Then repeat for the tail.
Paint all the pieces of the airplane and leave it too dry.
Attach the propeller to the extra circle using the split pin. Glue the circle to the end of the loo roll.
Next push the wing through the slits you have made. Put the tail on and glue into place.
If you enjoyed making these loo roll airplanes be sure to check out my loo roll cars and paper plate hot air balloon.
