As parents, we’re all aware of the dangers of leaving newborn babies in their car seats for any length of time. Research by The Lullaby Trust indicates that babies travelling upright in car seats for as little as 30 minutes or more are at risk of breathing difficulties. Sometimes longer car journeys are inevitable, and luckily now there’s a solution to give you absolute peace of mind.
We’re excited to introduce to you the new i-Level lie flat i-Size approved car seat by Joie. What’s brilliant about this car seat is its ability to recline to a 157 degree lie flat position even when rear racing. The lie flat position is billed by experts to be the best way for a newborn to travel in cars.
The i-Level’s lie flat ergonomic angle has been specifically designed to align your child’s head, neck and body to main constant airflow. The seat also offers the added bonus of promoting healthy spinal development.
The i-Level car seat has undergone rigorous crash testing in speeds of up to 70km/h, which is above and beyond the standard requirements for a car seat. i-Size certification has been awarded for both front, rear and side impact scenarios, so you rest assured your little one is absolutely safe.
The i-Level seat comes with an adjustable ISOFIX base with energy absorption which both cushions and minimises any crash impact. The base also offers maximum protection and security for the seat.
Further security comes in the form of the Tri-Protect™ headrest, with its three layers of protection within the side wings of the car seat.
The car seat’s 3-point padded harness makes fastening baby a synch. The car seat’s extra padding and adjustable grow-with-me infant body and head supports mean this is one seriously comfy seat.
As with many car seats, the i-Level can be paired with a range of Joie pushchairs as well as most others using Maxi-Cosi car seat adaptors.
