Christmas Preparation / 2 December, 2021 / Ellie Thompson
There’s always so much to think about in the run-up to Christmas, so we asked the party planners at Party Pieces – Carole Middleton’s partywear company – to share their favourite Christmas decorations and festive finds, and some top tips from Carole on decking the halls with boughs of holly!
Every mantlepiece needs a beautiful festive garland. This stylish Gold Foliage Garland will take pride of place on Carole’s mantlepiece this year. We also love this versatile Christmas Mistletoe Foliage Garland, which would look gorgeous on a mantlepiece, Christmas table or twisted to make an elegant wreath.
Make the most of your Christmas lights and hang them around a mirror for extra twinkle. We love these Starburst Chain Lights for a cosy festive glow. Carole loves the Nutcracker, which is why she’s chosen it as the theme for her first-ever own-brand Christmas decoration collection. These magical Nutcracker Honeycomb Hanging Decorations will be adding some timeless charm to her tree this year. Another festive pick from Carole is this Light Up Gold Star – the perfect way to update a tree-top angel that may be ready to retire from festive duties!

A garland running down the centre of the table is a must. We love this vibrant Red Berries Foliage Garland, which looks beautiful with a few candles dotted along it, or add green foliage and simple gold lights like these Party Porcelain Gold LED Lights for extra impact. Add twinkle to your Christmas table with these Embossed Tealight Holders, a lovely way to add a vintage touch.
Adding natural textures creates a lovely wintery vibe. These simple Wooden Coaster Stands elevate candles and bring the outside in. These Glass Gold Bauble Place Card Holders from Carole’s Nutcracker collection add a sprinkle of glamourous sparkle. And, of course, add festive fun with colourful crackers. These March of the Nutcrackers Crackers are our pick of the bunch.
