The brand new Joolz Hub is in the My Baba spotlight this week. A compact urban stroller measuring just 53cm in width, the easy-to-fold Hub is designed to tackle tubes, trains, buses and busy city streets with ease.
The Hub’s streamlined chassis with leatherette details can accommodate a carrycot, a seat unit and is car seat compatible. It’s fairly lightweight, while still managing to jam-pack in the premium features you’d expect from a Joolz stroller.
Suitable from six months to four years, the ergonomic seat allows for parent or world facing, and can recline to six different positions including lie-flat which is super handy for naps on the go. The backrest and footrest are reclinable too, with three possible positions.
The Hub’s extra large sun hood with see-through ventilation for airflow has a UPF of 50+, perfect for the hottest summer on record.
There’s an easy to open bumper bar, a height adjustable handlebar and an upright and open harness with magnetic buckle. The Hub’s large 10 inch puncture proof tyres with four wheel suspension and lockable swivel wheels make for a reliable and comfortable ride.
Perfect for newborns too, the Joolz Hub’s Earth Cot can be purchased as an additional extra. The carry cot’s breathable mattress and see-through ventilated sun hood creates the perfect environment for new babas.
Why not consider using the Joolz Hub Earth Cocoon for the ultimate in comfort? The ergonomic Cocoon is a snug and cosy insert that can be used on the seat unit, and can be folded together with the pushchair for complete ease of travel. For our littlest ones aged 0-6 months the Cocoon should be used with the mattress for extra back support.
The Hub’s underseat basket does not disappoint, holding up to 5kgs. Once collapsed, there’s a nifty transport lock to keep your pushchair folded making it really easy to carry.
We love the Hub; although billed as a compact stroller, it’s provision for comfort together with such sturdy wheels mean it’s a fabulous first-time purchase for those expectant mamas looking for the ultimate in comfort for their newborns.
A fantastic choice for urban living. We agree with Joolz, the Hub is the perfect city companion.
