If you need a quick and simply Halloween craft for toddlers and preschoolers, then these loo roll mummies are perfect.
Make sure you follow my Halloween boardHalloween board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
When YC saw the ones that BB had made she laughed and said, “you’ve waited to finish the loo rolls and now you are sticking the paper back onto it!” True, the irony of this craft has not been lost on me.
Tear some loo roll paper into strips. Don’t worry about it looking neat.
Cover the loo roll with glue and then wrap the strips of loo roll paper around it. Keep applying glue and paper until it is completely covered.
Finally stick on some eyes.
As I said at the beginning, this is a very quick and easy craft to do, both in terms of set up and execution. But the results are really sweet.
To gear it towards slightly older children you might try adding paper arms that stick out.
