Ah, it is my favourite time of the year again: autumn! There is something so special about it. Those crisp mornings, a certain autumnal smell, and the glorious colours. I always try to do an autumn tree craft and this year is no exception. BB and I had fun doing loo roll stamping autumn trees.
Make sure you follow my seasonal craft board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
We used orange, red, and yellow for our leaves. Thinking back on it now, it would have been fun to add some spices to the paints and do some scented painting.
Start out by squeezing your loo rolls into a leaf shape. No need to tape them, as they should stay in that shape.
Then let your little one have at it. We painted out tree trunks first and then added lots of leaves.
BB only made one picture, which is absolutely fine. Some people get discouraged if their little one only joins in for a short period of time. They way to view it is; at least they joined in. BB was very proud of his one picture, which is now hanging up on our art wall.
