Tonies have just released a new Aladdin figure to listen to. To celebrate we have been busy making some yummy magic carpet flatbread.
Make sure you follow my mains board on Pinterest for more food ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
Obviously, you can add all sorts of different toppings for your flatbread.
Roll out your flatbread into a rectangle. I actually used a pre-rolled one, which does help save time.
Make a shallow cut all the way around your dough to create a border.
At the top and bottom ends of the flatbread, I cut strips to make the tassels of a carpet.
Add your base and your toppings. I tried to make mine as symmetrical as possible so that it sort of looked more like carpet from Aladdin.
Then pop it into the oven at 180c for around 20 mins, or until the cheese has melted and the dough looks a lovely golden colour.
Our magic carpet flatbread didn’t last very long at all.
You could even try making a dessert one using cream cheese, chocolate spread, or jam for the base, then top with delicious fruits.
