For years, one of the most popular crafts on mybaba was the fun with marbles post. Part of it was about painting with marbles. We did it again a few years ago to make some spider webs for Halloween. Well, the other week in home-schooling, we had a morning set up with marble related activities. One of which was marble painted Easter eggs.
As a warning, this is not a craft for children under 3 or for those who are likely to put the marbles into their mouths. Adult supervision is key.
Make sure you follow my Easter board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
Fill some little pots with some paint. We went with some neon colours. Put 1-2 marbles in each pot of colour you make.
Place the piece of paper into your baking tray.
Get your little one to pop the marbles into the tray. The spoon is there for those that don’t like getting messy.
Gentle roll the marbles over the paper by tipping the tray.
When they are done, place the marbles back into their paints and remove the paper.
Wait for the paint to dry, then cut it into a giant Easter egg shape.
