If you’re looking for a Mother’s Day gift with real meaning behind it, Blue Bear & Co has created something truly special. Founded by therapist and mum Nici Robinson in memory of her son Charlie, these beautiful keepsake bears were designed to hold the things that matter most: a loved one’s voice, a heartbeat and even a familiar scent.
The brand’s hero product, Brown Bear, is a luxury 40cm teddy that goes far beyond the average cuddly toy. Hidden inside is a small recording device so you can capture a comforting message, alongside a gentle heartbeat and a removable plush heart that can be infused with perfume or essential oils. There’s also a discreet pouch where you can keep tiny mementos.
It’s a thoughtful idea for children who struggle with separation anxiety, for parents who travel frequently, or simply as a meaningful keepsake to mark a special moment in family life. Beautifully packaged and designed to be treasured for years, these bears are more than just toys – they’re little bundles of comfort and connection.

Launching this Friday to coincide with World Sleep Day, tonies® is introducing a soothing new addition to its bedtime line-up: the Sleepy Crocodile Night Light Tonie (£29.99). The launch comes as new research reveals a major shift in modern bedtime routines, with four in five (80%) UK parents now using listening (such as stories, music or audio content) to help their child calm down before sleep.
Designed to help little ones wind down, the friendly crocodile pairs gentle light with calming audio to create a peaceful bedtime environment. It features a 75-minute instrumental soundtrack inspired by slow river rhythms, alongside four dimmable light settings that can be adjusted to suit different bedtime moods.
The new character joins the popular Sleepy Friends Tonies collection, which includes relaxing stories, lullabies, classical music and ocean-inspired white noise to support calmer evenings. The range has become a favourite with families globally, with 90% of tonies customers reporting improved bedtime routines and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5.

UK-based seating specialist Boulies, a leader in high-performance ergonomic seating, has launched the upgraded EP200 2026 Ergonomic Office Chair, an evolution of its popular EP200 series designed to deliver greater comfort, durability and flexibility for modern offices and home workspaces. The new model features an upgraded ultra-breathable and durable mesh, a re-engineered cold-cured foam seat offering three times the support, an expanded seat width and fully adjustable ergonomic functions. New research commissioned by ergoPouch reveals a serious gap in postnatal care: insufficient support for parental sleep deprivation. Surveying 1,194 UK parents, the study found exhaustion often extends beyond the newborn stage, with 72% reporting negative impacts on mental health and 45% experiencing postnatal anxiety or depression linked to sleep loss. Sleep deprivation also affects daily functioning, memory, decision-making, and even safety, with 22% feeling unsafe while driving. Despite this, only 2% had sought professional sleep support, leaving most parents to rely on informal advice or overstretched health services.
In response, ergoPouch has launched the Thrive Not Survive campaign to raise awareness, advocate for better postnatal sleep support, and provide practical help. A £10,000 Thrive Fund will offer accessible sleep guidance to around 200 families, aiming to prevent burnout and improve wellbeing. The campaign urges recognition of sleep deprivation as a serious, long-term postnatal issue.
