What would Halloween be without a few mummies around? You just can’t go wrong with them. This year we have been making some moveable mummies. Kind of like a Halloween version of elf on a shelf.
Make sure you follow my Halloween board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
Cut yourself a long piece of wire, you will need more than you think. Shape your wire into the shape that you desire. I went for the standard person shape, but YC decided that she wanted to do a moveable mummy dog.
Once that is done wrap your wire mummy with your cloth. Until it is the desired thickness.
We also painted on a water and glue mix to help the ends stay put and to stop the edges from fraying too much. It is a fine line though of how much glue mix you put on. You don’t want it to be too much or your moveable mummy may not be able to move.
When the glue has completely dried you can now position it however you like.
