I love doing owl crafts, they are such an easy bird to draw. This time we have been making moveable owl puppets.
Make sure you follow my craft board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
Start by drawing out your body, wings and feet. Then paint them all. Once they have dried cut them out.
Next draw and cut out the eyes and tummy. Glue these and the feet onto the body of the owl.
Using a needle/scissors/ toothpick make a hole on either side of the body and 2 holes on each wing.
Push the split pin through the holes in the body and the wing.
Attach a length of thread between the two wings. Make sure that you have the wings in a relaxed position, so that the thread can be pulled tight.
Finally add another, longer, piece of thread to the middle of the one going between the wings. When you pull on this, it should make the wings go up and down.
