Mum on the Run: Look for October

This October is still all about layering for me. A great pair of black jeans and a crisp white tee is a good base to build on. I love a gold chain and this gorgeous bundle is so easy to throw on and would perk up any look. I’ve found my perfect long black autumn winter coat in black and like the vibe of a colourful knit tied over the shoulders. I live in trainers and think any style would suit this look. The bag I have my eye on is this colour-block tote from Ganni for another pop of colour.

In The Spotlight

Nala's Dream by Taylan Kurtul

Nala’s Dream is a magical children’s story with an incredibly poignant story behind it. It was first imagined by five-year-old Taylan Kurtul, who dreamed up an adventure in which his real-life kitten, Nala, travels into space. Taylan sadly died in February 2024, just eight months after being diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour. His mum lovingly brought the story he created to life as a book in his memory, celebrating Taylan’s wonderful imagination while raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. A beautiful legacy filled with adventure, love and a little boy’s magic.
