Mum On The Run: The Look For April

I’d love to say the sun has been out every day but it’s a typical English Spring and I’m still layering up every day.

I have fallen back in love with Levi’s and this 501 original jean is literally the blue print for every pair of jeans out there. They’ve been going since 1873 and I don’t think they will ever go out of style.

I could wear a Breton top everyday of my life, a bit like a uniform and this super soft long sleeved striped top from Me + Em is spot on. Made from draped, knitted jersey it fits beautifully and could easily be worn into the night.

I can’t believe it, but I’ve never bought a pair of Veja even though the kids live in them, but I’ve fallen in love with these Campo leather trainers with its signature V detail in black which means you can wear them with pretty much everything.

Zara is my go to when it comes to blazers and suiting, and this long double breasted blazer with a lapel collar and long sleeves is the perfect length to wear with jeans and would go with anything.

For finishing touches, I’ve been lusting after my husband’s Bamford B80 in adventure orange. A titanium case and beautiful leather strap I love the retro feel to this watch.

I know this Loewe leather trimmed raffia tote has been trending for a while, but I can’t stop coming back to it and now the weather’s better it would be the perfect bag for any look with its woven raffia and black logo.

Last but not least, I never go out without a pair of sunnies, you just never know what the weather is going to be doing at the moment. These Gucci square framed glass and acetate sunglasses are insanely cool. I love the 70s vibe and how they are almost opaque.

These classic Levi’s 501 are the ideal everyday jean for Spring. With a classic straight leg and iconic styling they will never go out of style and the perfect addition to your wardrobe.

Superset Long Sleeve Stripe Top, Me+Em

Crafted from draped knitted jersey, we are loving this top celebrating the classic print but rendered in monochrome shades. The way it falls fluidly over your frame will complement both your day and casual evening ensembles.

Veja Campo Leather Trainers, Matches Fashion

Veja’s white Campo trainers are a timeless and versatile addition to your wardrobe. They’re made from grained leather with a lace-up front, recycled-polyester and organic-cotton blend canvas lining and have on an off-white rubber sole that’s partially made from Amazonian wild rubber. I love their elegant style.
