My Baba Measure: What’s Hot This Week

Kids Style, NEXT

NEXT’s brilliant new kidswear campaign aims to put kids well and truly in the driving seat when it comes to dressing. Kids Style encourages our little fashionistas to style up their outfits and dress themselves, inspiring creativity AND independence.

Kids Style sets out to document the creative journey of our little ones, in discovering their own style. It’s time to make a fashion statement in a fun, light-hearted and creative way! Kids outfit inspiration often comes from a number of sources, such as favourite movies, animals, sports and daily lockdown activities such as baking and playing dress-ups!

The campaign is a testament to NEXT’s high-quality, affordable kidswear range, which is beloved by families across the globe. And with a wardrobe jam-packed full of NEXT’s threads, you need never worry about what they might come down the stairs in!

Boardroom Babies, Bugaboo

Bugaboo has assembled a gang of mini doppelgangers of some of the biggest names in business to launch the search for the specially created new CMO ‘role’ – that’s Chief Mischief Officer to you and me.  What’s the catch? We hear your cry… Well, simply that you must be between the ages of three and five to be in with a chance of being chosen.

Bringing the launch of the search to life is a series of photos showing C-Suite CEOs as you have never seen them before. Mini versions of Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Whitney Wolfe (Bumble), Bozoma Saint John (Netflix), Elon Musk (Tesla) and Jack Dorsey (Twitter), gaze mischievously at the camera as they ‘test out’ the quick and nimble Bugaboo Bee.

The ‘mini-me’s pose up a storm, with each CEO’s nuanced interests being showcased throughout the images, including bitcoins, rockets, superyachts, bumblebees and colourful prints. To apply your child for Bugboo’s CMO, head here to upload some of their best mischievous work!

Books Of The Week

Still Awake, by Lyndsey Hookway

Many parents struggle with sleep when their children are babies, and there are hundreds of books on the subject, but what happens to night-time parenting when you have a toddler or older child and the strategies that may have worked for your baby no longer seem to be helping?

Older children’s sleep is often complicated by factors that cannot be addressed simply by optimising a nap or tweaking the bedtime routine, and parents can feel frustrated and confused when their older children continue to wake at night or find it hard to settle.

Still Awake is a relatable and non-judgemental book for parents of children aged 18 months to 12 years old, and those that work with them, which explains the science of children’s sleep and provides a multitude of practical and creative tools to support sleep, reduce conflict at bedtime and improve relationships. Firmly rooted in gentle and respectful parenting, it is an essential tool for improving night-times for the whole family.

Winning@Books, Snow Tiger Media

Winnings@Books is a series of children’s educational activity books by Snow Tiger Media intended to support learning based around the two main academic subjects of English and Maths. The titles are separated into subjects and colour coded age groups based upon the school year.

These are the first books in the series and they focus on the early year’s foundation stage, the age group that came last in line for home learning during the lockdown in the pandemic.

Each book is vibrant, exciting and jam-packed full of colourful, unique and diverse representative illustrations and they are available to order direct from the publisher Snow Tiger Media and in a growing number of independent bookshops in London.
