The Nappy That’s Fighting Carbon Emissions

Kit & Kin is truly leading the way with its commitment to the environment. From the carbon-neutral factory producing its eco nappies and the sustainably sourced natural ingredients used to its protection of precious rainforest around the world, the purpose-led brand is dedicated to putting the planet first in more ways than one.

Kit & Kin’s sustainable, plant-based nappies are produced in a carbon-neutral plant, and for every 10 Kit & Kin nappy subscriptions, the brand purchases and protects 1 acre of rainforest, which locks in 130 tonnes of carbon.

If every one of the 3 billion nappies used in the UK annually was a Kit & Kin nappy, it would save more than 36,000 tonnes of carbon from being released, the equivalent of driving over 90 million miles.

MORI’s NEW launches for AW21

MORI has just dropped not one, not two, but three new clothing ranges to kick start the AW21 season. What’s most exciting is that the launch includes MORI’s first-ever outerwear collection, and brand new knitwear and velour ranges to keep little ones cosy and dry.

MORI’s waterproof outwear collection is made from 100% recycled polyester derived from discarded plastic bottles. We love the collection’s clever design details, including cosy fleeces, organic cotton jersey linings, hooded protective caps and adjustable cuffs to extend the life of the garment. MORI have also included reflective MORI logos so little ones can keep safe on dark winter evenings.

Available for babies and children from 6-12m up to 3-4 years.

My Expert Midwife & Pandas Foundation host Maternal Mental Health Event

My Expert Midwife will be hosting a digital event in collaboration with the maternal mental health charity, Pandas Foundation, to discuss the highly important but often stigmatised topic – mental health in pregnancy and after birth.

The webinar will be hosted by My Expert Midwife’s in-house registered midwife Nicky Nicholson, who specialises in perinatal mental health, who will be joined by guests from Pandas Foundation, Annie Belasco and Liz Poole to discuss everything about mental health including how this can change in pregnancy, how you can feel if things don’t go to plan at the birth and when and where to seek help if you or a partner need support. The hosts will be sharing their professional and personal experiences, and will also be available to answer any questions from attendees.

The event is part of My Expert Midwife’s wider #LetsBeHonest campaign and series which lifts the lid on taboo topics and symptoms that are commonly experienced during pregnancy and childbirth, encouraging open discussions around the many challenges that women face during this time!

Toy Of The Week

Molli, 14 inch Wheel, Raleigh

Inspired by Raleigh’s iconic grown-up models with an extra splash of fun, this 14-inch kids’ bike pairs fun fruit detailing with a gorgeous wicker basket – perfect for stashing all their favourite toys. Even better, every Molli bike comes with a cuddly Molli dog, ready to accompany them on all their cycling adventures. And with a sleek pink colour scheme, they’ll never want to travel on foot again (sorry!).

Expertly crafted for little legs, the Molli range is the perfect way to introduce your youngsters to the world of cycling. For first-time riders, the matching stabilisers help them master their balance and coordination, getting them ready for years of family bike rides and trips to the park. When they’re ready to go solo, you can whip the stabilisers off, easy peasy.

A lightweight aluminium frame and high-rise handlebars make this bike incredibly easy to manoeuvre, with an upright riding position encouraging young bikers to keep their eyes ahead while they’re cycling. The pretty non-slip pedals stop their feet from sliding off, and the bike’s adjustable brake levers have been designed for easy operation by little fingers. Complete with front and rear mudguards and a full chainguard to keep them clean and dry, this nifty bike will have them out-racing you in no time.

Pop, 14 inch Wheel Crossbar, Raleigh

Got a little one who’s itching for their own set of wheels, but hasn’t quite mastered their balance? Set them off on this snazzy number. Designed for kids that need a little bit of support, the Raleigh Pop 14 is a kids bike that helps them to build their confidence and conquer the basics of biking, ready for that all-important day when they ditch the stabilisers and fly solo. All you need to do is cheer them on from the sidelines.

With a choice of two beautifully bright colourways, this 14-inch kids bike has a frame to suit every style. Contrasting red and blue tyres make the red frame an eye-catching choice, while the light green accents on our dreamy white frame give a vintage, crowd-pleasing finish even grown-ups will envy. Both frames showcase oodles of cool colour, creating a look that’s as wonderfully unique as the kid riding it.
