Baby Glass Bottle, BIBS

BIBS new baby glass bottles are made from first-class temperature and thermal shock resistant borosilicate glass, which is very durable and shatter-resistant. The bottle is able to withstand freezing, thawing in boiling water, microwave heating and dishwasher cleaning. What’s brilliant about this range of glass bottles is that they don’t emit microplastics or other harmful toxins, as glass resists chemicals and acid degradation. Also, glass does not contain any BPA, PVC or phthalates.

The nipple has been specially developed to match the nipple from the popular BIBS Colour pacifier which is designed to mimic the mother’s soft nipple in shape and size. This is to avoid teat confusion if you’re transitioning from breastfeeding to bottle – and back again.

The nipple is produced from natural rubber latex, a natural super-soft, elastic and resilient material made from a sticky milky fluid tapped from the Hevea tree. The nipple is designed with an anti-colic function where a valve for a smooth milk flow reduces air swallowed while feeding.

The Big Breastfeeding Café

The national initiative which celebrates breastfeeding and the wonders of breast milk is set to return for its 8th year next month! The Big Breastfeeding Café will take place on the 12th May and returns with the same clear intentions, to bring together thousands of mums yet again, from all across the country, to honour all things breastfeeding and shout about breastmilk in all its glory!

Run by global breastfeeding brand, Medela, this year the campaign is going back to its roots, taking place in mum’s homes, village halls and breastfeeding groups across the UK. Seeing the return of the ‘in person’ element after the uncertainty of the last few years, the café has never been easier to join. Mums can simply get together with a breastfeeding buddy (or two, or ten!) on the day over a cuppa, a slice of cake and good conversation.

With an abundance of live content running over @medela_uk alongside the in-person events, it is certainly set to be a fantastic celebration once again!
