SANN Beauty Lip Serums

We love these new Beauty Lip Serums from SANN Beauty. SANN is a slow beauty brand with a conscious approach, offering up a tight edit of modern, multi-functional, make-up essentials to complement every woman’s inner beauty.

The meaning behind the brand ‘SANN’ means ‘true’, ‘real’ and ‘genuine’ in Swedish. All make-up is consciously curated, multi-functional, effective, and uses the cleanest, most nourishing ingredients.

SANN presents The brand is more than make-up: it is a lifestyle, a feeling, a vibe. Being cruelty-free, vegan, gluten, phthalate, fragrance and paraben-free and delivered in sustainable packaging, this is a gorgeous conscious brand you’ll want to make a switch to.

We love that SANN believes there is more to beauty than how we look, and partners with CAMFED to help allow marginalised girls in sub-Saharan Africa to reach their full potential through education.

XPLORA XGO 2 – Watch Phone for children

If you’re looking for a simple but reliable smartwatch for your kids, the XPLORA XGO 2 is well worth a look. The device is designed so your kids can stay in touch by making and receiving calls from pre-saved numbers.  The device can receive texts, emojis, images and voice messages and reply with images, emojis and voice messages.

There’s an SOS function so that in an emergency, a button can be pressed by the child to notify emergency contacts of their location, using multiple services to show the device’s location. There’s also the option to set up Safety Zones around key locations such as home and school.

It’s a brilliant way of keeping track of your older kids without having to invest in a mobile phone. School Mode can be activated to only display the watch clock during class time with all calls and messages disabled during this time. In School Mode parents are still able to track the watch location and the SOS function is still active.

We think the Xplora will be especially useful with the summer holidays coming up, so you can stay connected with your child, and they’re going to love the added benefits of a camera and calculator.

The watch does need a sim card and requires a daily charge. We recommend a pay-as-you-go sim from Tesco for complete ease of experience. Available in four great colours the Xplora XGO 2 is rated 4/5 stars on Amazon.

Baby Sensory Board, My Little Learner

We’re huge fans of My Little Learner and their latest product is a must-have for any new parent.

As they grow the sensory board will helps to promote and extend tummy time, strengthening baby’s neck and arm muscles. It’s also a game-changer during nappy changes too! What more could you want?

One Million Moments

One Million Moments is a worldwide campaign with one single mission – to reduce the number of children struggling with mental health challenges from the current 17% to 10% by 2025.

Prevention is better than cure, and children who feel connected, heard, and understood are less likely to struggle with their mental health. Our lives as parents are so busy it can be overwhelming for parents to know where to start. One Million Moments is the brain-child of Dr Maryhan Baker, and she’s an advocate of keeping things simple while actively seeking change, one moment at a time.

One Million Moments is about seizing opportunities to connect with your children, moment by moment, day by day, for it’s these moments that raise our awareness and give us a glimpse into a child’s mind, their reality, and how life events are impacting them right now.

Toys Of The Week

Knight Rider, Playmobil

This year the classic 1980s TV series Knight Rider celebrates its 40th anniversary! (We can hardly believe it either…) To celebrate this wonderful milestone, PLAYMOBIL has launched a brand-new replica of the iconic talking car K.I.T.T, the perfect gift for dads who love to relive their childhood.

Just like his onscreen counterpart, PLAYMOBIL‘s K.I.T.T. is equipped with a whole range of authentic functions, such as a printer underneath the dashboard for printing out mug shots, a rotating number plate, and a cord with a grappling hook, pop-up headlights, and a detachable roof. K.I.T.T. features electronic sounds and lights operated by touch-feature on the vehicle’s hood.

The vehicle even quotes lines from the series in the original iconic K.I.T.T. voice, it is SO nostalgic. Certain quotes are heard with the on/off function, while others play randomly. At the same time, the iconic scanner light on the front of the vehicle lights up, and the dashboard lights flickers. – Everything as your dad will remember it.
