My Baba Measure / 4 December, 2019 / My Baba
From conversations about equality and supporting Tommy’s to the Owlet Cam and Newton Faulkner’s kids’ album, here’s what the My Baba team are loving this week.
See, listen and talk to your baby from anywhere with the Owlet Cam. It live-streams directly to your smartphone and you can listen to it while using your phone for other things too. It’s WiFi encrypted, making it super secure and easily attaches to your wall, so cables are safely out of reach. Owlet also has integrated its Smart Sock with the camera. This is basically a sock that can track your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels, then report it to your Owlet app. Who said you can’t buy peace of mind?

Tommy’s support families who are going through a miscarriage and sadly one in four babies will be lost before birth to miscarriage. The family charity is aiming to raise £100,000 to create the Miscarriage Care Plan for women and their families around the UK, so that all parents, regardless of their postcode will receive the care and treatment they need.
During Big Give Week (3-10 Dec 2019), Every penny you donate to Tommy’s during the Big Give week will be doubled.

It’s music for kids that grown-ups will like too. That’s right, singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner has created an album called ‘My Day’ for kids that’s catchy and well produced. The songs take the children through their day and help them through any tricky bits. It also comes with a hardback book with illustrations and lyrics.
