My Baba Measure / 22 January, 2020 / Christina Walter
From new pushchair colourways to the latest toys and spring fashion, here’s what the My Baba team are loving this week.
Huge news in from Bugaboo! This February sees the launch of a brand new limited edition Bee5 in vibrant coral – the perfect colour for navigating the city in style this summer.
The Bee5 is Bugaboo’s urban pushchair, made for city dwellers. It’s compact and super comfy, thanks to its advanced suspension. It folds in just one slick move, while its lightweight design makes it easily portable and really easy to store.
With Children’s Mental Health Week coming up on 3rd – 9th Feb, we wanted to shout out to Ups!de Down, the publisher of fiction and non-fiction books for children to encourage conversation around mental health and wellbeing.
The titles available promote positivity, emotional intelligence and mindfulness for children, whilst being beautiful, age-appropriate and, most of all, enjoyable! We think this initiative is just brilliant and well worth a look.
The trend for lie-flat car seats is well and truly under way, with this week’s hottest new car seat is the ARRA car seat from Nuna. Suitable from birth, the ARRA converts easily into a flat reclining seat with a 157° angle – the most ergonomic position for your baby. We know that newborns should lie flat for as much as possible to support a healthy spine and improved oxygen levels.
The ARRA seat has three recline positions, in both car seat and travel system modes and the 157° angle is suitable for use in the car or pushchair.
Little Tikes has launched a whole new range of amazing toys for kids, and this collection of beautifully crafted wooden critters has well and truly caught our eye.
Available in the collection are four character designs including a shape stacker, busy beads, racer and a pullback racer.
These toys will all be suitable from 12 months+.

The Kipling x Pac Man collaboration is a must for any 80’s Pac Man fan. The aesthetic synergy between the two brands can be seen in their mutual love of colour, with the collection playfully referencing the games’ key characters which are iterated in motifs throughout the range.
The collaboration features a collection of shoulder bags, backpacks and polycarbonate luggage, all featuring playful graphics of the iconic game’s characters.
An easy-folding travel cot that’s quick to assemble, (hooray! we hear your cry!) the Sleep&Go Lite allows your little one to sleep soundly wherever you are.
The Sleep&Go Lite is light and compact and comes with a travel bag which is ideal for trips away. It has a deeply padded mattress and frame which offers a comfortable sleep solution for your baby.
Suitable for 0-36 months.
Muro is the brand behind the world’s one and only modular busy board, has added five new add-on kits for its much-loved, multi-award-winning Muro system.
The beautiful new accessories include; Slat & Slot, Nut & Thread, Letter Pack, Number Pack and Wooden Counters.
Inspired by the Scandinavian approach to education, TARKA is one of the fastest-growing trends in the city, offering physical, brain-stimulating classes to children between 18 months and eight-years-old. TARKA uses colour co-ordinated equipment to guide children through a series of drills designed to kickstart their neurons – all while listening to chart-topping music. The exercises are designed to build dexterity, develop fine and gross motor skills and promote teamwork and communication.
