My Baba Measure: What’s Hot This Week

This week’s round-up of news includes the launch of a range of stylish new pushchairs, new kids’ fashion, ways to keep fit at home and new ways to keep the kids entertained during lockdown.

Rainbow Print Shortie, The Little White Company

We’re in love with this soft cotton Rainbow-Print Shortie from The Little White Company.

A great option for summer sleeping, this simple shortie design is covered in a beautiful all-over rainbow print.

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a new arrival, why not pair with The Little White Company’s Rainbow Blanket & Hat Set?

£10 from the sale of this piece will be donated to the NHS via The Prince’s Trust and Refuge.

NXTGEN, Quinny

Quinny has launched a brand new collection of iconic pushchairs. The line dubbed ‘NXTGEN’, consists of three very different styles: the compact and convenient Quinny LDN, the comfortable and spacious Quinny VNC, and the lightweight Quinny PAR.

All strollers are ultra-compact and have a from-birth comfortable option. Each pushchair has its own distinctive features and all are ready to take on the city.

#WeCareToShare, Shnuggle

Shnuggle is launching an important campaign focussing on Maternal Mental Health. ‘#WeCareToShare’ aims to connect parents in order to support each other.

Parenting can feel lonely at the best of times and with lockdown upon us there are even more reasons to feel anxious. Shnuggle wants to ensure parents that no one needs to feel alone at what is a scary and uncertain time, not just for adapting to a new baby, but for how times might be different going forward.

#WeCareToShare is a campaign across Shnuggle’s social media channels which aims to connect people. Parents can share their personal insight advice by completing the sentence “I care to share…”. The campaign hopes to encourage parents to talk to each other, reach out, share and support one another.

Shnuggle is building content across key themes that will be shared during a week-long campaign from 11th –17th May and with the help of expert collaborators they will deliver a mix of blogs and video content.

The seat meets both the new i-Size certification and the highly sought after Swedish PLUS-test certification.

The Motherhood Prints

The Motherhood Prints is busy supporting parents giving birth in lockdown. They’re teaming up to collaborate with talented artists in order to produce new artwork which will be sold as limited edition prints. The pieces have been designed especially for new parents and babies’ nurseries. We think they make a fabulous gift to anyone having a baby during this difficult time.

100% of the profits go to the NHS Charities Together.

New Carriers, Baby Tula

Baby Tula has made an exciting change to its Tula Coast range. The new carriers now come with a lining on the inside of the adjustable arm straps, made from the same mesh material that is used for the centre panel and detachable hood to make their carriers even more breathable in warmer weather.

A brilliant and comfy way of enabling you to get out and about with your baby.

Keep Moving, Start-Rite

Start-Rite Shoes has launched home-based exercise routines to keep the kids healthy during lockdown.

Filmed before social distancing, Start-Rite’s collab with Brytespark the experts in human movement takes inspo from the well-known High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and includes a series of fun routines tailored to different age groups, so everybody can take part, from the under 5’s to the kids aged 10+.

The routines, called ‘Take 5-4-5’, include five intervals – a warm-up, high activity, low activity, another high activity and a cool-down – each lasting for five minutes. What we love about these awesome workouts for kids is that they’ve been designed specifically with growing bodies in mind. What’s more, the workouts for younger children are story-led, to keep them entertained and focussed.
