My Baba Measure: What’s Hot This Week

From rainbow products raising money for charity, to the latest new things for baby, here’s a quick round-up of our favourite discoveries this week.

Sleepyhead FREE spare cover offer!

Sleepy Head of Sweden  have launched a very special promotion on their website.

From 21st May, if you purchase the Sleepyhead GRAND from the official Sleepyhead website you’ll receive a FREE spare cover, which is a huge saving of between £85 – £90.

The Sleepyhead is one of our favourite products for baby, and we recommend going bold this summer, with the Jungle Cat, Sail Away and Seascapes Collection prints.

Organic Cotton Jersey Sleeping Bag 0.2 Tog, ErgoPouch

The mercury is rising, so it’s time to think about investing in sleeping bags with a lighter tog. When temperatures hit 24C° (75F) and above in your baby’s room you won’t need to add any extra blankets with this organic cotton jersey sleeping bag from ErgoPouch.

Made from a breathable, lightweight fabric that’s knitted to stretch in all directions, your little one will sleep comfortably with their arms out, with plenty of room for restless legs.

We love that the sleeping bag’s full-length zip works both ways, so changing nappies and getting your little one in and out is really easy.

Suitable for babies 8-24 months.

Knitted Grey Dinosaur with Blanket, Best Years

Our favourite knitted toy brand Best Years has released a new super cute knitted diplodocus dinosaur complete with soft blanket.

The diplodocus is suitable for newborns and is perfect for babies to cuddle up to for comfort.

A fabulous gift for a new baba.

Potty and Reusable Liners, Potette

Potty training can be hard, and it can take time. It’s really important to arm yourself with tools to help you and your little one get the job done!

What we love about Potette is that it’s a handy potty that can be used at home or out and about. During the current crisis, you’ll find that most public toilets are closed so having a handy portable potty is a must.

Potette can be used with the reusable liners or handy disposable liners. It’s a purchase that makes trips out less stressful for potty-trained children – and their parents!

Bumbo Multi Seat

The Bumbo Multi Seat is an award-winning 3 in 1 seat brilliant for babies on the verge of toddling. What we love about the Bumbo is that it can be used as a floor seat, feeding seat AND a booster seat.

You might not know this, but the Bumbo Multi is suitable for six-month-old babies up to children aged three years old, with its adjustable height settings and wide leg space making it a comfortable place to sit for every tot.

The Bumbo comes with an in-built tray, a removable soft foam cushion for the littlest babas and safety straps to secure the seat to a chair. Both the cushion and the straps can be stored within the seat when they’re not being used, which makes this a fantastic travel companion. There’s also a 3-point harness to secure even the wriggliest of worms!

Pip Organic Shop

The creators of healthy organic kids’ juices and treats, Pip Organic has just launched their new online shop so you can now enjoy Pip at home.

They’ve put together new Pip-top and Piptastic boxes to give you the opportunity to try a range of flavours and new additions or to simply opt for your Pip family favourite.

The Pip Organic range is 100% organic with no added sugar, making them perfect for snack time for all the family.

The Felix Project

The Felix Project feed local communities in London by rescuing surplus food from the food industry and delivering it to over 350 frontline charities and schools.

In the face of coronavirus, The Felix Project has scaled up an impressive emergency response – growing to four times their usual output and providing instrumental support to the most vulnerable as London faces its worst hunger crisis in decades.

Six weeks ago, in the blink of an eye, their fundraising plan for 2020 evaporated as if in a puff of smoke, with the need for food amongst London’s most isolated and deprived communities about to increase massively. As their fundraising revenue was hit hard, they worked hard and fast in the face of huge disruption to adapt their operational model to accommodate sickness, social distancing and a huge increase in demand.

With support from organisations such as the Daylesford Foundation The Felix Project was able to act as an emergency response organisation, forming the London Food Alliance with two other food redistribution charities to deliver emergency food into 33 London Boroughs.

They’re now busy feeding more people than ever before. They’ve nearly quadrupled their daily food output with over 40 tonnes of food (or 100,000 meals) now being redistributed to people from London’s most vulnerable communities via 360 schools, emergency food hubs, food banks, social kitchens and other community organisations across the capital.

How can YOU help?

Check out The Felix Project’s website for details on donating food and fundraising for the cause.
