My Baba Measure: What’s Hot This Week

This week’s discoveries include some very important dates for your diary, new shop openings, and a couple of fantastic subscription services.

Wellbeing of Women – dates for your diary

Looking after your mental health is as important as ever during these times – especially if you’re expecting or you are a new mum. On Tuesday 16th June perinatal psychiatrist, Dr Roch Cantwell and mum-of-three, Luisa Zissman, will provide expert tips and share personal stories about maternal mental health at Wellbeing of Women’s webinar. If you’d like to attend, simply click the link to register your attendance

If lockdown has brought out your inner bookworm, the brilliant Marian Keyes will discuss her new book, Grown-Ups, in a thought-provoking and uplifting discussion with Wellbeing of Women’s Vice Chair, Eve Pollard OBE in an online event on Friday 19th June. Get your tickets here.

Baby Meals, Little Tummy

Little Tummy delivers organic, cold-pressed baby meals directly to your doorstep. The meals are developed by paediatricians and they contain no added sugar. As they are cold-pressed, the natural goodness and freshness is locked in, making these a delicious choice for your baby.

Just subscribe to your baby’s preferred meal plan and wait for them to arrive. You can then serve them warmed up or cold depending on your baby’s preference.

‘Parents to Be’ service, Mamas & Papas

Mamas & Papas has launched the UK’s first virtual personal shopping service for new and expectant parents. Even as shops are starting to open pregnant women are classed as vulnerable so should still be shielding. Mamas & Papas want to make sure that new parents can get much-needed advice and inspiration without having to leave the house.

Customers will be offered video calls by expert personal shoppers in Mamas & Papas stores across the UK, they’ll be answering questions and providing live demonstrations on everything from car seats to pushchairs.

SPF 50, Skinnies Kids

Developed by New Zealand parents Olly and Martha Van Arts to solve the problem people have with white and sticky sunscreen, Skinnies is a new, non-comedogenic, waterless sun protection gel for kids, aged 3 months and up.

Skinnies SPF50 creates a barrier on top of the skin, it’s made up of a cosmetic clay and oil base which is great for its efficient delivery mechanism for UV filters. There’s also added vitamin E to keep the skin hydrated.
