The Boob Life, Tommee Tippee

This week Tommee Tippee unveils its bold new campaign: The Boob Life. Featuring real-life mums and their babies, The Boob Life, is an unapologetic celebration of these women, their bodies and their choices, acting as an open pledge to support every parent through every second of their feeding journey – whenever, wherever and however they may choose. Here to make a stand, The Boob Life affirms that there is no ‘one size fits all’ in parenting and seeks to give mum the confidence to do what’s right for her.

New global research commissioned by Tommee Tippee revealed that a staggering 93% of mothers felt their mental, physical and emotional struggles with feeding had gone unacknowledged. With continued debate around breastfeeding in public spaces or social media platforms, it’s no surprise that only 1 in 10 young mums said they felt comfortable breastfeeding in public; almost a quarter even felt embarrassed to feed in front of their own friends, yet alone elsewhere!

Fuelled by these results, Tommee Tippee is set on bringing feeding to the fore. Launching on 2nd March, Spill the Milk, a unique six-part digital content series hosted on Tommee Tippee’s Instagram, will follow The Boob Life, hosting conversations with these real women on their experiences of feeding and motherhood. A relaxed and honest account of their stories; think spilling the milk on all the gritty details no one talks about – from difficulties with latching and milky stains on t-shirts to coping with feelings of judgement and failure.

VTech’s colourful and versatile 3-in-1 Ride with Me Motorbike is designed to capture the imagination of little ones and support development throughout the early years. This awesome new ride-on features three impressive modes of play.

In its first mode, the colourful new toy forms a push walker to support those very first steps, before transforming into a three-wheeler ride-on for steady driving adventures. When the time is right, parents can then switch to the third mode, a two-wheel ride-on, which encourages little ones to practice balancing and riding their very own motorcycle!

Ideal for keeping children active and sparking little imaginations, the 3-in-1 Ride with Me Motorbike features a light-up dashboard and ignition key, as well as over 80 songs, sounds, melodies and phrases. So, whether children are taking those wobbly first few steps, zooming around singing to their favourite songs, or cruising along as they learn about colours and the community, the 3-in-1 Ride with Me Motorbike is sure to keep them entertained!

Perfect for a first birthday or lockdown gift, this new ride-on is bound to keep children busy at home and will be a toy to enjoy for years to come, as well as to pass down to little siblings and cousins.

Valley Explorers, Yeo Valley Organic

As children look forward to getting back to school and playing outside again, new research published this week reveals that UK parents are being outsmarted by a generation of nature-loving kids. The UK’s leading organic brand, Yeo Valley Organic, conducted the research which found that two-thirds of parents have been outsmarted by their children’s knowledge of the birds and the bees in terms of wildlife and nature.  An encouraging 72 per cent of children also said they are keen to learn more about the natural world so they can help wildlife and nature in the future.

To celebrate and feed this appetite to learn about the outdoors, Yeo Valley Organic is launching the Valley Explorers education series.  In the video led series, starting on Monday 22nd February, the brand will teach children about how to put nature first and offer fun activities for kids to do in these last few weeks of homeschooling.

Sarah Mead of Yeo Valley Organic, said: “Children love spending time outdoors and are curious about everything.  They absorb so much information, especially when it comes to learning about nature and the future of our planet. I think it’s great that the next generation are so passionate about learning about nature and the environment. That’s why we wanted to launch our Valley Explorers videos to help children learn more about how any why they need to put nature first – and hopefully persuade some of their parents too!”
