You’ve probably already heard of baby kit brand Nuna. They’re one of the global leaders in baby gear and they’ve just launched the Nuna TRIV Next – the everyday travel pushchair for 2023. Here’s everything you need to know…
Calling all city-dwellers! The Nuna TRIV Next is billed as an urban pushchair built for morning strolls about town and afternoons in the park. Red Dot winner 2022, the Triv Next has got a bit more about it than your average travel buggy. The Triv Next can quickly convert to a travel system, giving you a lot more bang for your buck. This trusty pushchair will be there from day one, in carrycot and car seat mode, all with the help of a couple of nifty adaptors.
What’s great about the Nuna Triv Next is that it isn’t a bulky, tricky-to-handle travel system. While it’s solid and sturdy, the pushchair weighs in at only 8.72kg (without insert and armbar) making it ideal for use as your everyday buggy. Designed with a clever compact fold, the Triv Next packs up easily, stands on its own when folded, and is neat and easy to store – in your boot, or your hallway.
All-wheel spring suspension, one-touch braking, and large rear wheels make the Triv Next easy to manoeuvre, wherever you’re headed, while offering your little passenger a comfy-cushioned ride. The Triv’s wheels are foam-filled and ready for any terrain, so whatever adventure unfolds, you won’t have to worry about punctures.

Dressing For Winter Babywearing: What You Need To Know
The Nuna Triv Next arrives in a neat package complete with carry handle. Unboxing the pushchair couldn’t be easier. There’s no brown tape to unpick, just an easy-to-open box that holds the wheels, the pushchair and a removable Merino wool insert. Minimum packaging. (Thank you, Nuna. The recycling gods appreciate it!)
The buggy is positioned in the box handle side up and slides out without any need to flex your muscles. The wheels pull out separately and lock on with ease. And, yep, that’s about it. You’re already ready to stroll.
Suitable from birth to 22kg, the Triv Next has a seat that faces and folds both ways, no matter which direction your baby is facing. The all-season seat keeps your precious cargo snug in winter and converts to breathable mesh in summer. With a 4 position recline, including a full recline for newborns, the Triv Next will cater for those all-important naps on the go. This is a pushchair that’ll grow comfortably with your child, with adjustable calf support and a durable footrest that doubles up as a step-up for toddlers.
The Nuna Triv Next is a sophisticated pushchair, available in Caviar and Hazelwood with a luxe tan, leatherette handle. (It’s all about the tan handles!) You can adjust the handle to five positions, so no matter who’s in charge – mum, dad, granny or grandpa – you’ll be able to stroll comfortably.
When it comes to critiquing a pushchair, regular readers will know there’s nothing I love more than a decent under-seat basket. After all, us mums have a lot to carry, am I right? Good news. The Nuna Triv Next certainly does not disappoint in the basket stakes. The storage basket is huge and, what’s more, it’s accessible.
Whether you’re zipping in and out of your favourite high street shops or packing the kitchen sink for an adventure off-piste, the Triv Next has you covered. Stash your changing bag and any extra shopping under the seat; there’s no need to juggle annoying bags on the handlebars, or worse still, have them dangling from your shoulder.
The pushchair comes with its very own rain cover to protect your precious cargo no matter what the weather. (Nuna, thank you for not making us buy this separately.) The buggy’s water-repellent UPF 50+ canopy is really clever. It zips out to give your little one even more coverage and zips back in for a stylish and sleek-looking silhouette.
Buckling up a squirming, reluctant little toddler can be an event. And a loud one, at that. Don’t worry. The Triv Next’s MagneTech secure snap™ is basically a self-guiding magnetic buckle that automatically locks into place so that you can get your little one in and out without a fuss. The buggy’s quick-release, five-point no-rethread harness converts to a three-point harness so once your little one is older, so your child can enjoy a little more freedom.
The Nuna TRIV Next next is available in Caviar and Hazelwood. RRP: £600. Carrycot £200.
