Jet-Setting Parents Will Love The Compact Nuna TRVL

The Nuna TRVL has been built for exploration. Ultra-lightweight, this pushchair is designed to help you handle city life and trips away with your most precious cargo in tow. The TRVL combines luxury with convenience for a fully-featured stroller that looks the business. We find out more.

Unboxing the Nuna TRVL stroller

The Nuna TRVL arrives in one simple box with everything you need to get strolling. As you’d expect from a compact pushchair, there’s minimum assembly required – it’s all pretty simple. Of course, you’ll need to slot in the seat and the wheels to the chassis and attach the canopy and bumper bar, but everything feels intuitive.

What immediately struck me was the tall seat height of 49cm, giving you easy access to the under seat basket and plenty of room to store your essentials. The advantage of a higher seat also means it’s great for positioning up to a table if you’re dining out.

An easy push

The pushchair is lightweight and easy to steer, with a decent turning circle to negotiate difficult spaces with ease. This is especially useful in busy city centres and bustling streets.

The braking system is a simple one-touch lever situated by the back right wheel. As with most strollers, the front wheels swivel or lock depending on your requirements.

There’s clearly been no compromise on quality when it comes to the design and production of this buggy. The TRVL looks great and feels sturdy. The pushchair’s leatherette accented pushbar and removable arm bar add a touch of luxury, and the stroller’s stylish fabrics are made with certified OEKO-TEX® fabrics which are better for baby.

Suitable from birth

The TRVL is built to pair perfectly with all PIPA™ series car seats (sold separately), so you can create a travel system for your child that’s suitable from birth with no adaptors needed. The buggy’s calf support is adjustable to two positions, and can grow with your child up to 22kg, so it’s a pushchair that will last.

One-hand self-collapsing fold

When you’re navigating busy or unfamiliar places with a baby, it’s important to have a stroller that’s going to work with you. At the touch of a button, the Nuna TRVL stroller is designed to automatically self-fold into a super-compact, free-standing package. During those frenzied airport check-ins, or hurried trips on the tube, you won’t be bogged down by a buggy that requires your full attention.

Safety and comfort are priority

The pushchair has a magnetic buckle on the no-rethread five-point harness to keep your little one safe. Designed using MagneTech Secure Snap™, the buggy’s self-guiding magnetic buckle automatically locks into place. This is a complete godsend when I think of all the times I’ve bent over a pushchair trying (and failing) to line up and slot in buckle parts over a wriggling and unhelpful toddler.

The pushchair is world-facing, but you’ll be able to keep a keen eye over your child with the canopy’s peek-a-boo window. The canopy itself is water-repellent and offers UPF 50+ protection, so it’s great for shielding baby from rain showers and the sun’s rays.

Naps on the go are a cinch thanks to the buggy’s fully customisable recline positions. Whether they’re busy taking in the sights or lying horizontal, the TRVL can be easily adjusted on the go.
