During the May ½ term holidays I went to the Picasso Museum in Malaga. It was fascinating art museum. One of the things that really stood out to me was video footage of Picasso doing one-line pictures. If you don’t know what one line drawing is, it is drawing a picture using one continuous line. In the gift shop they had a little book on learning how to do, which of course I got. YC is really into art and learning about the different artists. So, this seemed like something that she would really enjoy.
Make sure you follow my craft board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
We used the little book I had to show us how to draw some of the pictures like a duck, dog, penguin. But after that we started to experiment with our own pictures.
Remember the key is not to take your pencil off the paper.
If you enjoyed doing your own one-line drawing be sure to check out my drip art, tape art, art prompts, and process art foil painting.
