How to make an Origami Banger: Ring 2021 in with a bang!

Can you believe that this year is almost over? For many I know that this year cannot end soon enough.  This final craft of the year will help it go out with a bang. EC and I had great fun making origami bangers together. I have made these before when I was at school, but it wasn’t until we were walking home one day and saw some other children playing with them that I thought to make them for New Year Celebrations.

Make sure you follow my craft board on Pinterest for more ideas, and don’t forget to save the pin for later.

To make an origami banger you will need:

  • An A4 piece of paper
  • Pens

First fold the paper in half length wise, then unfold.

Then fold each corner down to the centre line.

Once you have done that fold it in half along the centre line.

Then fold it in half again.

Finally fold down the flaps.

Hold the noise maker by the ends of the two flaps and bring it down quickly to create the bang.

Use your pens to decorate it with festive cheer.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year! I hope that it brings you much joy and happiness. Thank you for all your support, I hope that you keep coming back to check out our crafts and activities.
