Aren’t these paper plate hot air balloons cute? I’ve wanted to hang something in the playroom for ages. We used to have a mobile up, but it came down when we redecorated last year.
Make sure you follow my paper plate craft board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
Decorate your paper plates and cups. You will need two plates per hot air balloon.
To create the hanging basket make two holes on either side of the top of the cup. Then thread two lengths of string through those holes and attach them to one of the paper plates.
Next place the plates together and staple them.
Finally make a loop of string and attach it to the top of the hot air balloon.
The paper plate hot air balloons look really sweet hanging in the playroom, and BB seemed to really enjoy decorating his plate.
