Five years ago, Matt started his journey as a financial advisor, and since then has helped thousands of people organise their home finances. On a daily basis, he found he was being asked the same questions and hearing the same frustrations from people trying to navigate their way through the mortgage process.
Matt spotted a real disconnect between how people bank, shop and chat in a digital-first world compared to how they access mortgage advice. That was when he had the idea to combine the services of a broker with innovative tech to help people mortgage smarter. Together with his wife Claire (brand director and co-founder), Meet Margo was built from their kitchen table, with the sole purpose of reshaping the mortgage experience in a way that puts control back into the homeowners’ hands.
