Toys & Books / 7 November, 2023 / My Baba
We welcome two of the UK’s best parenting experts to the show to discuss the importance of role-play in partnership with role-play pioneers, Casdon.
Baby and child nutritionist Charlotte Stirling-Reed and parenting expert Sue Atkins join My Baba’s Editor, Ellie Thompson, to share their thoughts, advice and top tips on using role-play toys to benefit young children (and adults).
Together, they explore everything from why role-play time is fundamental to a child’s development and the benefits of using role-play toys to implementing role-play to encourage children to enjoy mealtimes and overcome milestones.
They discuss the importance of consistency, as well as common issues surrounding self-esteem and confidence among children. They talk through problems of mealtimes, fussy eaters, stalling at dinner time, and creating healthy eating habits. A must-listen!
