Pour painting is extremely satisfying to do, albeit rather messy. I am super happy with how these pour paint decorations turned out. You literally can’t do a bad one.
Make sure you follow my Christmas board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
*You can get a specific liquid that you add to the paints to create this pour paint, or you can do your own version. If you want to make your own then you will need PVA glue, water, and rubbing alcohol (optional). Mix 1 part paint with 1-part PVA glue, add a splash of water and some of the rubbing alcohol if you are using it. This isn’t an exact science, so I wouldn’t worry too much if you don’t get exact measurements. If you do have the pour paint fluid simply add that to you paint and mix.
Pour a little of each paint you want on your pour paint decoration into a new cup.
Next pour it onto you decoration and tilt your decoration until the paint covers it all.
Leave your decorations to dry on the wire rack.
Once the paint has dried add your string and your pour paint decorations are now ready to hang up on your tree.
