Maxi-Cosi has set the benchmark for the future by launching a first-of-its-kind sustainable car seat, the Mica Pro Eco. Each seat is made from 100% recycled fabrics derived from 19 plastic bottles in an effort to take care of the planet for the benefit of the precious cargo they carry. We were keen to find out more, so we took the seat for a test drive.
The Maxi Cosi Mica Pro Eco is built to the highest i-Size safety standards, offering best-in-class comfort with planet-friendly innovation. Suitable from birth, the car seat provides a super comfy rearward-facing seat for children up to 4 years old, with a forward-facing option if necessary.
The padded seat and newborn insert are made from 100% recycled fabrics known as Eco Care. The soft and breathable fabrics offer optimum air circulation to maintain your baby’s ideal temperature, so you can travel long distances in comfort. Maxi Cosi’s ClimaFlow panels provide increased ventilation for your child’s head and neck.
In the flesh, the fabrics look and feel luxurious. The seat offers a generous recline angle in both forward and rearward-facing modes, making those all-important naps on the go safe and comfortable.
