Silver Cross has teamed up with British rap star Tinie Tempah to create a new pushchair, the Rise by Tinie Stroller. Rise by Tinie is part of a capsule collection that includes a car seat and travel cot. Designed to elevate the parenting experience, this forward-facing pushchair combines style, functionality and forward-thinking design. And what’s more, the first 100 strollers sold at John Lewis boast Tinie Tempah’s signature, making it a one-of-a-kind collector’s item.
Okay, so Tinie Tempah might not be the first person that comes to mind when you think of baby gear, but his collaboration with the iconic Brit brand Silver Cross is nothing short of impressive. And as pushchairs go, this one’s pretty spesh.
First off, you’ll unbox the outer packaging to find a posh black sleeve that’ll make it feel as though you’re opening a giant Rolex. Underneath the sleeve, there’s another box, and on top, you’ll find a neatly arranged cardboard shelf with the pushchair’s fabric accessories laid out each in its own compartment, with chassis, seat unit and pushchair hood underneath. And on the bottom layer, you’ll find the buggy’s footmuff and newborn seat insert packaged to perfection. While the collab’s cardboard usage may be a bit disheartening in today’s era of environmental consciousness, there is a silver lining—it’s fully recyclable, and plastic has been kept to a minimum.
