We have made this playdough before but it was such a long time ago that we thought that we would give it another go. It really is the easiest playdough that you could make, as it only has 2 ingredients that you are sure to have at home. Plus it makes really silky soft playdough.
You will need:
This isn’t a recipe that we used any measurements for, it was more a case of keep adding one ingredient or the other until it reached a consistence that we liked.
I added some food colouring and a chocolate scent to one batch. Both the cream and the conditioner made really nice soft playdough, although the one with cream in held its shape slightly longer when it was shaped into things. Also the cream is less likely to have an added scent so you can add one that you like. In the end we had one white coconut one (conditioner), a pale pink raspberry one (conditioner) and a brown chocolate scented one (unscented body lotion).
I set it up with some Shopkins, sea shells and buttons in an invitation to play.
Both YC and EC loved playing with it and created all sorts of wonderful creations for me to “eat”.
If you store it an air tight container then it should last a while.
