Snüz Just Gave Its Bestselling Baby Basket A Chocolate Makeover

Chocolate brown is having quite the interior moment, and now the trend is making its way into the nursery. Snüz has introduced a new Chocolate colourway for its bestselling SnüzBaskit, bringing a rich, warm update to baby’s first bed. And, we’re not gonna lie, we’re a little bit in love.

Following the launch of the Chocolate SnüzPod5 earlier this year, the new SnüzBaskit lets parents carry the same colour palette through baby’s sleep space. Finished with subtle gold branding, the deep brown shade feels seriously chic and offers a gorgeous alternative to traditional nursery neutrals while still being incredibly easy to style.

Meet The Chocolate SnüzBaskit

Designed for babies from birth to around six months, the SnüzBaskit takes the familiar concept of a Moses basket and gives it a modern update.

Lightweight and portable, it can be moved easily from room to room, so baby can stay close during those early months. It’s also 45% larger than a traditional Moses basket, giving little ones more room as they grow.

We love that it’s a genuinely practical piece of baby kit that you won’t feel the need to hide away when somebody comes over. The basket can be used on its own or paired with Snüz’s folding wooden stand, which is made using sustainably sourced wood. Optional machine-washable liners are also available in a choice of colours.

Designed With Safer Sleep In Mind

Looks aside, the SnüzBaskit has been designed by Snüz’s in-house sleep experts with a number of features focused on baby’s sleep environment.

Breathable mesh windows help with airflow while giving parents greater visibility of baby, while additional air holes are built into the base.

The included 3D mesh mattress is breathable and designed to provide the firm, flat sleep surface recommended for babies, while helping with temperature regulation.

The basket’s base is made from Kinderfelt, Snüz’s own material created from 100% recycled fibres, combining a lightweight construction with the durability needed for everyday family life.

A New Neutral For The Nursery

Brown has emerged as one of the key interiors shades of the moment, and we’re here for it. As huge chocolate fans, this colour brings warmth and depth to spaces previously dominated by beige, cream and grey.

The new Chocolate SnüzBaskit taps into that shift with a shade designed to work within both contemporary and more traditional nurseries. Parents can also pair it with the matching Chocolate SnüzPod5 bedside crib for a coordinated sleep setup.
