Spring Wardrobe Update: Shop NEW Luxury Kidswear From Il Gufo

Il Gufo, masters of luxury kidswear, have launched their Spring 2022 collection and we couldn’t be more excited. The season’s first drop embodies a fresh and bucolic appeal, using the natural colours of the earth and its fields together with the themes of blooming flora, fauna, fruit and vegetables.

The inspiration behind Il Gufo’s Spring 2022 collection

The inspiration behind Il Gufo’s Spring 2022 collection encapsulates a journey that takes us from bustling city to burgeoning countryside, where nature and imagination can thrive without limits. Sustainability is at the very heart of this new season collection from Il Gufo. With honest and traditional workmanship, they’ve created this beautiful capsule collection of luxury kidswear, including fine garments and small, sophisticated accessories.

Sustainable, artisan clothes for children

Il Gufo combines some of Italy’s oldest traditional handicrafts in this new season range, including hand-worked embroidery, needlework, bobbin lace and crochet to create adorable heirloom pieces that will last. Il Gufo is keen for our kids to get back in touch with nature and its marvels, as they too embrace organic cottons and non-toxic, biodegradable colouring agents.

Springtime in the city

Springtime in the city is free and liberating. For her, a short trench coat in beige cotton drill with drawstring waist paired with a matching bucket’s hat. Pair with a classic, long-sleeved shirt embellished with ink-blue stripes with a wide collar and ruffly edging, and roomy cotton seersucker trousers with blue check motif for the ultimate chic yet comfortable look.

For him, a blazer in seersucker-effect technical fabric with blue and beige stripes and classic lapels, worn over a blue poplin shirt with mandarin collar and a white cotton t-shirt with blue edging. The look is complete with cargo-style bermuda shorts in heavyweight beige jersey.

Springtime in the countryside

Oh how we all love a trip to the countryside in spring! Il Gufo’s new luxury kidswear collection explores the mood of the moment. Buzzing hedgerows, blooms and blossoms, blue skies and the welcome return of warm sunshine are matched by lighter clothes, with an earthy appeal.

The girls’ collection is bursting with colour, while the boys’ range embodies the earth’s natural hues. Pieces include a trapeze dress in white stretch poplin with tulip appliqués in shades of fuchsia, lilac and green, and bermuda shorts in linen with a white and antique pink check pattern. For him, carrot-fit trousers in white and khaki check linen, a white cotton t-shirt and a green shacket in heavyweight jersey fabric.

We take a look at some of our favourite picks from the new collection.
