Interviews / 1 September, 2021 / My Baba
Instagram star Talia Oatway is married to Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers, and is mama to three children, Siennah, 8, Romeo, 1, and new baby Maddox. She is also currently on MTV’s Geordie OGs and has filmed series 1,2,3 and 4. We caught up with Talia Oatway to find out how she’s getting on with her new baba, and what it’s like being a mother to three children.
I became a mum at such a young age. Siennah and Romeo have a big gap between them, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. However, I enjoyed a lot of time with her one on one, so, I do worry about balancing out my time around three kids.
I think the advantage is the fact that Siennah is like having another mum around the house, she absolutely adores Romeo. The disadvantages are that they are totally into different things. I know when Romeo gets a bit bigger and wants to go to soft play etc, Siennah will think it’s babyish.

I absolutely loved being pregnant. My last pregnancy was my calmest but also, I found I felt so tired, as I had Romeo and Siennah to care for. I think with Siennah, I was able to sleep so much and with Romeo I did too, but third time round that wasn’t possible!
I actually enjoyed pregnancy in lockdown, I could wear my PJs every day and not worry.
I didn’t put anything on my skin when pregnant really, only because I have had pregnancy spots really bad with Romeo.
I think Stokke is such a lovely brand, I’ve used a few of their products, and I just think the quality of everything is amazing. I also think Stokke’s products are so beautiful looking. I absolutely love my pram; people always compliment it. Our first outing will be to the park or the beach as we love taking the kids there!
The Stokke Sleepi. It has wheels so I can pull it around from room to room and move it downstairs or up easily.
I absolutely loved wearing maternity leggings and Aaron’s T-shirts, LOL!
Maddox birth was the worst out of the 3. It was very traumatic, I had an emergency section and his heart dropped for 30mins. I honestly thought I was losing my baby.
If I am totally honest it hit me hard. I wake up a lot at night checking he’s ok still and he’s 12 weeks.
To always be themselves, I want them to know they will be loved no matter what, for who they are.
