The Joie Aire Twin stroller can be used from birth with its lie-flat seats, complete with reversible pink and blue seat liners. The forward-facing seats recline independently of each other, which is super-handy, especially if you intend to use this with children of different ages. The two UPF50+ hood canopies are also independently adjustable.
There’s no seat divide, but the seats are comfortable, spacious, and adjustable to your growing child with the buggy’s three-position five-point harness. The harnesses are easy to use, which is a must when you’re trying to tackle two children into their seats. They’re also baby soft, so the very littlest of passengers are kept comfy as well as safe and secure.
What I love about this stroller is that children are able to sit fairly upright to view the world around them. This is something that a lot of other compact or side by side strollers struggle to offer.
The stroller also offers a multi-position leg rest and fully removable bumper bar, so your kids can enjoy a safe and secure ride.
The Joie Aire Twin’s high-quality aluminium frame keeps the stroller lightweight, but structurally strong. Unbelievably, the buggy offers an easy one-hand fold and automatic fold lock. Once folded, the stroller is free-standing and compact, which makes it perfect for storing.
There’s no getting around the fact that a side-by-side twin buggy is going to be twice the width, but The Aire Twin’s design fits through most doors and slides easily into our medium-sized car boot.
The Aire Twin’s stroller swivel wheels benefit from all-round suspension which tackles uneven streets with relative ease. The buggy is surprisingly easy to push, with an impressively small turning circle, which is mega useful when maneuvering two heavy kids in one stroller. The wheels can be locked in place to offer a bit more control when required.
The stroller offers a single step, ShoeSaver brake which was music to the ears of my 365 days a year flip-flop wearing husband.
While not an off-road pushchair, it’s a fantastic option for everyday use for two children of buggy age. Its large shopping basket is easily accessible, so you won’t have to worry about hanging bags on handlebars or over your shoulders.
