Micralite Launch New Colours And Winter Accessories For Award-Winning GetGo Pushchair

Baby travel brand Micralite has launched a brand new set of colourways for its award-winning 3-in-1 travel system, GetGo, and a whole host of innovative new accessories, making it easier than ever to customise your pushchair to suit your style.

The new GetGo takes inspiration from textures in nature, with natural and organic colours including a green named Forest, a pink named Aura, a beige named Sunbeam and a black named Carbon. And if that’s not enough choice, you’re also able to choose between two chassis colours, platinum or black, for a pushchair that’s guaranteed to stand out from the crowd. We were excited to take a closer look.

Unboxing the Micralite GetGo travel system

The Micralite GetGo is a pushchair that promises to do it all, in line with the brand’s ethos of making parents’ lives easier. The GetGo is suitable from newborn up to approximately 4 years old  (22kg) and has been specifically designed to encourage family adventure whatever the occasion or terrain.

GetGo arrives in fully recyclable, FSC-certified packaging, and once out of the box, the pushchair is super easy to assemble. All you have to do is slot the wheels and the hood into place and et voila! You’re ready to stroll.

First impressions? It’s an impressive buggy when you unfold it for the very first time; it’s uber-sleek and not at all heavy to handle.

Shopping for a travel system for your baby

It’s refreshing to see that Micralite are a buggy brand that knows its audience. They understand that when we purchase a pushchair, we expect the essentials to be included.

Your GetGo comes with a coordinating, double-sided seat liner, cup holder, UPF50+ sun shade, rain cover and shoulder strap to keep kiddo and parent happy. No unnecessary secondary purchases with this travel system!

What’s also instantly noticeable is that much to my delight, the pushchair has a huge 5kg under-seat basket for your changing bag or your shopping, so you won’t have to scrimp on the essentials you need for any given trip. GetGo is a pushchair designed to evolve with your child. With adjustable calf support and a reversible seat, your child can comfortably world face when they’re ready.

We love the freedom GetGo offers in terms of how your baby can travel. For newbie parenting on the go, GetGo can be buddied with their new Cosy Pod, overnight sleeping carrycot or the Silver Cross Dream i-Size infant carrier.

Lie flat from birth with GetGo’s Cosy Pod

If you decide to use the multi-recline seat from birth in its lie flat mode, Micralite’s Cosy Pod is for you. A cold-weather-ready solution offering the ultimate baby comfort, the Cosy Pod features a newborn head support and soft, heat-regulating bamboo lining so your little one can travel as snug as a bug. The Cosy Pod easily attaches to the GetGo pushchair seat using the 5-point safety harness, and as your baby grows, the head hugger can be removed to leave behind a stylish puffer jacket-style footmuff or winter seat liner.

This combo is a great alternative to getting out and about without having to invest in a carrycot, saving on money and space. And of course, the seat’s ability to recline is ideal for those all-important naps on the go for older children too.

Lightweight, compact fold pushchairs

Weighing in at just 10.8kg, GetGo is a travel system that’s pleasantly lightweight for its size. Its compact design and one-motion, one-second fold make it a great option for city dwellers and suburban parents alike.

As with all of Micralite’s products, the pushchair is free-standing once folded and comes with a nifty carry strap, so you can transport and store your buggy easily when not in use.

Stylish and sustainable

Micralite has used recycled plastic bottles in the fabrics of GetGo and its accessories – 73, to be exact! The buggy’s sustainable, water-resistant outer fabrics offer UPF50+ protection, and the extendable hood with zip-out ventilation panel is designed to shelter your child from sun and rain. There’s also an integrated sunshade with ventilated sides that pulls out easily when needed.

The pushchair’s weather-proof fabrics look and feel high-end and will be ideal for the long winter months ahead.

A smooth ride for you and your baby

The manoeuvrability of the pushchair is guaranteed with GetGo’s large and reliable puncture-proof tyres and dynamic 4-wheel suspension to protect against any bumps.

It was a joy to road test, its multi-position handlebar offers an effortless push, navigating curbs, grass, uneven pavements, and dirt track roads with ease. The GetGo is a reasonably priced travel system built to go anywhere, and with comfort at the forefront of design, your child will want to go too!
